I cant believe it... World Cup defending champion France lost to World Cup First-timer Senegal in the opening match... the first major upset in the tournament... guess many punters had lost money over this match... well the soccer fever will reach an all time high this period with the commencing of FIFA World Cup 2002... lots of employees will start taking MCs... lots of employers will start having headaches... boyfriends will start neglecting their girlfriends... wifes will start to nag more on their husbands... hehe... tats the wonderful power of watching soccer tat the anti-soccer freaks wun understand... haha...

I'm happily slogging away in the office right now... yes.. time is 9.27PM.. it is one of those time where i have to finish up whatever i need to for the week.

The weekend awaits.. and my dear bro, Roy is on his way now to fetch me before we embark our long journey to the east (Changi Airport) for a simple niteout.

Trying out a new software (Laplink) .. impressive cool.. now i can sync the files between my notebook and office desktop by click of mouse. it can also double up as my backup agent.. heheheh..

hmmm, tomorrow will be attending my sec school friend's wedding dinner.. in fact, this month of June, i have two friends getting married.. this raise question like, "so, when are you getting married?" .. hahaha..

i'm not getting any younger.. it suddenly incurred to me that i'm turning 25 this year. what is lying in front of me? i'm no longer a young adult.. i'm turning middle age!.. argh.. *paranoid*.. hahaha..

i'm multitasking now. on my left is the Compaq EVO 400C undergoing a major clean up, and the XP is still installing. Timing doesn't really ring with my psychological clock. but it's still spinning.

on my right is the exact monitor that i see wat i type.. 17" Flat screen shining brightly. yeah.

[ Sat and Sun ]

Sat has been an enjoyable day.. it was so long since i have the chance to meet up with the RC gang.. an afternoon packed with joy an laughter along the eastern coast of Singapore. i also got my feet into the unfamilar roller blade.. hahah.. boy.. it wasn't half as easy as those bikini gals seems to blade.. haha.. din fall much though.. but the one hour of staggering did arouse some interest in me to pursuit this unique sport.. hehehe..

and today is simple outing with my beloved Liz, nothing fanciful.. just the both of us at IMM building.. shopping and checking out food calories .. hahaha.. though we ended the day with a little misunderstanding.. pray that we will still look forward to our next date. :) hehehe..

ok.. got my room repacked as the redevelopment is temporary done.. ok.. mum call for dinner.. chill!

[ YAY ]

just checked my result for Jap... I got B... hehe... quite surprised & happy cos I didnt expect a B... thought I will have difficulty passing this subject cos I failed my mid-term... furthermore felt tat the final paper was hard... anyway... YAY!!! hmm... maybe I should have gotten an A?... haha... never mind... hope the other papers will also get grades that exceed my expectations... maybe a very first A? will update u guys when they come out in early June... pray for me folks...

spent the whole of today playing mahjong at a friend's friend's house... hehe... 2 guys pitting our mahjong skills & wits against 2 gals... in the end... I was the only loser... sigh... at least I did something meaningful today? haha...

will be looking forward to the simple gathering this Sat... yah btw... Viz are u going?

[ Entrepreneur-ship ]

Recently, many of my friends are either planning or have already onboard of this ship.. visited one of my friend's office yesterday.. though the office may not be big.. but everything you need to run a decent business is there. and of course, the mentality of having your own office is like your body on adrenaline.. full of energy, ready to strike.. my very best wishes going out to this special friend of mine.. :) .. oh yes, did i mention that he is in the designing business?

Another friend joint venture with her boyfriend (more like husband liao) for a branded apparel business.. their shop will be opening this Sunday. yet to visit the shop but more or less i'm indirectly linked to their business through my company's IT business..

Guess, we have to create synergy to stay afloat on this rough sea of business. A few other friends are still in the planning and searching stage of their own businesses. All the best to them!

oh well.. wat's install for me? how about my ship?.. oh well.. i do not have a very clear direction ahead of me.. there's just too many stuffs to handle.. but i'm coping. and guess only prayers will work me through and guide me till my destination.

yes.. it has been a long time since i last posted anything useful.. make no difference now.. hehehe..

anyway.. wat down with a giant ulcer for the whole of last week.. and i'm not talking about normal innocent looking ulcer.. it got the same size as the buttons on my long sleeve shirt. *ouch*!.. i even have to take panadol to ease the explosive pain that run up to my temper.

the computer at home is still under wraps to shield of dust from the redevelopment.. and for the pass few days.. my family has been rather "close" and cosy as we all sleep in the same room.. yes.. all four of us..in one room.. we sleep at the same time.. wake up at the same time.. hahahaha..

as for work.. still as busy as ever.. chill

why is the weather so damn hot nowadays? cannot get to sleep at night... drenched in sweat when I woke up... feeling thirsty now & then... etc etc... this is the kinda period where one will fall ill easily without taking proper care of themselves... so drink lotsa water folks... sleep early & sleep well... take good care of your body even though u may be very busy in work or studies...

went for a dim sum buffet today... ate till the both of us were bloated... ordered 20 dishes... hehe... at a cost of $13 per person... but the food not really nice though...

I wanna watch Spider Man & Star Wars 2... anyone available? hehe... but I shy leh... hehe... *crappy*

[ Long Time ]

yup, it has been a long time since i post anything.. well.. nowadays i seldom touch the computer back at home, reason being my house is under redeveloping and dust reside everywhere.. my house is in a total mess with only my sis and my room fit for sleeping.. we even have to use a make shift toilet in the middle of the kitchen.. kinda interesting.

hmmm.. ok.. at work now.. nothing much for this morning.. just good luck to everyone. (will think of intelligent things to post soon)

Yesterday was supposed to go on a special movie & dinner date with a special someone but she did not wanna go out... kenna rejected... sigh... haha... so in the end I had to stay at home... again... but hey at least I did something meaningful... cleared my 2 cupboards... hehe... shifted all my comics, books & other rubbish around... hmm... I still keep all the cards & souveniors tat I received from friends, ex-cadets & cadets last time... some of them were even received when I was in sec sch... haha... very long ago rite? my mum keep nagging me to throw all of them away... & my comics as well... grrr... went to Vogue's house yesterday evening to borrow many VCDs for the rest of the holiday... & I mean really many... altogether 26 in all... haha... didnt realise tat I missed so many shows... some of them were like ages ago... watched Miss Congenality yesterday nite too... quite funny... after tat was followed by supper & tour ard Singapore island with Lava till bout 5am... & after tat... u can guess wat happened next... haha...

My fingers are numbed from the plucking fo guitar strings.. i'm delighted that after a period of 3-4 months.. i'm blessed with this little window of relaxation.. strum my guitar like never before.. tried learning from new tabs.. ahh.. Sunday.. a break..

my home now is now in a mess as the redeveloping of toilet is gonna start tomolo.. sheets of transparent papers are wrapped against the sofa chairs and tables.. fridge is shifted.. and so are the other stuffs..

and now, i'm feeling HOT!.. argh.. tthis sunday sun doesn't permits my will to go out.. guess i will have to stay at home.. hehehe.. and yes.. today is Mother's Day.. hope that all of us have greet our mother that already.. :) .. heheh

and this stupid mouse is turning against me.. a left click always ended up with a double click.. grrrr.. *slamming the mouse*.. ok, guess i will take and nap.. chill folks..

[ Just woke up... ]

dun call me a pig... I just woke up cos I slept at 5am last night... was at a friend's house watching a soccer match... & so happy tat my beloved Arsenal defeated Man U 1-0 to clinch the Double!!! hehe... well... I know some of u pple will say the usual words:"why waste our sleeping time watching 22 grown-up men chasing after a ball when each of them have balls themselves?" ( I added in the latter portion... hehe) Only soccer fans like us will know the joy & excitement involved... rite guys? & some gals? hehe... before the match... both of us went for a short pool cum bowling session before we proceeded for supper... saw this chio, sexy & young lady who was with an elderly guy... & both of us were speculating whether she was "tat kind of gal"... u know... hehe... not trying to be sexist here but she really gif us tat kind of impression... hehe... but hey at least she is chio kay? haha... & yah... yesterday afternoon went job hunting with a group of friends too... the result is negative again... sigh... if this goes on... maybe like wat Viz commented... I will turn into spiderman soon... hehe... btw... the guitar tat Viz lent me is lying at one corner... slowly turning into spider-guitar? haha... corny... tats the result of being super bored... bored bored bored...

[ Time pass ]

Woah.. time swept me pass like a hurricane.. so fast.. too spinning.. i began to notice how 24hrs is insufficient for myself.. i stepped into office around 8.30am daily and the clock start ticking.. before i've managed to achieve anything significant or thought of doing enough.. lunch..man!.. i could foresee myself skipping lunch to finish up my stuffs very soon.. (like today). and when my stomach go on strike again.. its time to knock off..

i could bearly breathe in this high paced race.. but i'm trying.. things are not looking very bright for me.. but i pray hard for it..

[ Great walk, great food ]

Went for the Great walk for humanity this morning.. it was held by Singapore Red Cross Society and the venue is at Sentosa.. a place which my last visit was more than 3 years ago?? ok.. nvm.. other mates that joined me in this early morning cruise were Andy, Roy, Jianxin, Wileen and Alex (JX significiant other) .. the distance was short.. no sweat.. hehehe.. we also participated in the formation of the largest human red cross, kinda cool.. as it is my first time doing it.. heheh..

after all the hoo and haa.. we did not have the patience for lucky draw and retreat back to WTC for a simple brunch, or at least that is wat we thought.. simple. we were attracted by the cheap Dim Sum at level 4 of WTC and decided to patronise it. the interior decoration can be considered "not-low-class" .. and upon sitting.. we start ordering.. (round 1) chicken feet, siew mian, shimp stuffs and lots of names which i do not know.. cleared within minutes.. so.. round 2.. round 3.. round 4.. argh.. we had glued ourselves to the seats for over 2 hrs and still eating!!.. probably the interval between orders were too long and allow dijestion to take place.. hahaha..

but anyway, at least i was bloated at the end of a $15 bucks brunch.. guess i can skip dinner.. alright.. in office now.. working.. time are tough eh? hahaha.. bye folks!

[ Still at home ]

hehe... familiar topic? it is not meant to suan Viz or Lava who are still busy working their ass off... hehe... but its true tat I am still stuck at home for the past 2 days since my exams ended... never even went out to havoc... not trying to be a guai son though... hehe... sigh... life can be so boring... sigh... but anyway will be going for a job interview tomolo... shall not reveal wat job I am applying... this job requires me to "serve certain pple"... make sure they are "happy"... haha... not selling my backside lah... dun ever think of that... haha... my backside not round enuff... anyway... wish me luck ya?

TGIF!!! anyway nutting special for me also cos its holidays!!! TGIH!!! no more exams for 2 months... haha...

[ Still in office ]

yup, you see right. Lava and I are still sloging our nights away in the brightly litted office. Actually, it is kinda cool when the whole office retreated to their slums while the both of us (less the poor auditor) blasting the MP3 away.. hahah.. kinda interesting to consume our ramen noodles and waiting for the otak to get cooked. haha.. but the otak is kind of a disaster now.. it got soaked in hot water till it turn sloggy.. and now toasting in the oven.. wonder it is still edible but nothing stop a hungry man.. moer over its TWO hungry men. hahaha..

[ May Day ]

This May Day is a quiet day. Not too much of committment, went Ros house to help her with her phone and PC and meet up with Liz for a short while after that.. and now, i'm already back home slacking.. going my grandmum house later in the evening for dinner though.

ahhh.. an holiday in the middle of the week is like a little saving rock island in the middle of pacific ocean.. for a day, i do not have to think about work.. heheh.. my work in the office is catching up on me like fire on kerosene.. will be heading towards a burn out if not for this short but precious moment.
